Charles Robinson

Charles F. Robinson, 68, a well-known Hi-Line teacher and basketball and track coach, died from a cardiac arrest on Monday, July 28, 2014, at Northern Montana Hospital in Havre. 

His funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at Chinook High School Gym. A reception will follow at the school. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Highland Cemetery in Havre. Memorials to donor's choice are preferred in lieu of flowers. Rockman Funeral Chapel of Chester is in charge of arrangements.

Charlie served as a successful boys and girls Class-C basketball coach in Montana for 44 years, winning three state championships at K-G schools. He was inducted into the Montana Coaches' Hall of Fame in 1994. He had a total of 850 career basketball victories and at the time of his death, he was girls basketball coach in Chinook.

Survivors are his wife of 44 years, Kay Robinson of Chinook; daughter, Shari Robinson of Havre; son, Randy Robinson of Roundup; and two grandchildren, Grayson and Cortland Brenna of Havre.
