Havre Police Department

Donald Keith Cochran, 49, of Havre was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after an officers served it to him at the Hill County Courthouse at 9:40 a.m. Thursday.

Officers investigated a 1:27 p.m. Thursday call from the college area about someone wanted assistance with a friend who overdosed on insulin.

Officers investigated a 5:09 p.m. Thursday call from 1st Avenue about vandalism to a vehicle.

Juanita Sue Head, 37, of Havre was served a Justice or City court warrant at the Hill County Detention Center at 5:48 p.m. Thursday.

Officers investigated a 7:20 p.m. Thursday call from 1st Street Northeast about a man stalking the calling party and breaking out a window of the calling party’s niece's vehicle.

Officers investigated an 8:25 p.m. Thursday call from 1st Street about a noninjury motor vehicle crash with an infant in a vehicle.

———

Four people were arrested after officers investigated a 2:02 a.m. Friday call from 19th Street about people in a Dodge truck being loud. No other information was given.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Matthew Joseph Saddler, 30, of Billings was served a state District Court warrant at the HCDC at 1:33 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Firefighters were called the 3100 Block of Old Post Road at 3:51 a.m. Thursday to address a wire on a pole that had been burning because of arcing.

Firefighters were called to seven miles east of Havre at 2:34 p.m. to put out a grass fire that was caused by wind breaking a power pole line.

A boy was born to Katie and Danny Wirtzberger of Havre July 22, 2014.
