Friday, April 24

"El Phantismo," a St. Jude School romantic comedy production, will be performed at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8 at the door or at the school.

Citywide Prayer will be 7-8 p.m. at Abundant Life Ministries, 405 6th St. 

Friends of NRA Banquet will be at the Duck Inn from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Cost is $35 for one and $60 for a couple.

Family Sing Along Concert with Jack Hartmann will 6 to 8 p.m. at the Havre High School auditorium. Cost is $5 per person, with children 2 and younger admitted free. People can purchase tickets at Havre-Hill County Library and the HRDC building reception desk.

Saturday, April 25

Hi-Line United U14 soccer team’s last home games of the season are scheduled at 11 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on the soccer fields behind Havre High School. The games are free, and the public is invited to attend.

Havre Trails 5K Run/Walk begins with preregistration at 9 a.m. and the race at 10 a.m. at the RC Model Flying Club, south on 5th Avenue, the first left after Havre Ice Dome. Fees are $20 for adults and free for 12 and under. T-shirts are available for purchase while they last. For more information, email havretrails@gmail.com.

Girl Scout Troop 3227 is having a lasagna dinner and auction from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Eagles Club. The fundraiser will support the troop's trip to San Francisco in June. For more information, call Sherri at 399-5672.

Sunday, April 26

Monday, April 27

Havre High School Taste of Jazz will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the high school gymnasium, with a concert accompanied by pie and refreshments. The public is welcome to attend this fundraiser concert.

The TURF Committee will celebrate Arbor Day in a tree seedling planting session with more than 200 second-grade students from Lincoln-McKinley, Rocky Boy Elementary and St. Jude schools. The planting will begin at 9 a.m. in Pepin Park. For more information, call Chris Inman at 265-5781.

Tuesday, April 28

Bullhook Blossoms Garden Club will meet in the Timmons Room at Hill County Courthouse at 2 p.m. After a short meeting we will tour the Downtown Gardens greenhouse with Lela Patera. Laurie Sageser will serve snacks.

Legislative Conversations with area legislators in a “call-in” program is set for noon to 1 p.m. at the Robins School Administration Building first floor video-conference room, pending the Helena schedule for area legislators. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Hill County Democratic Party will hold a county convention at 6:30 p.m. at the Eagles Club in Havre for the election of officers. A potluck will precede the convention at 5:30 p.m. and the regular monthly meeting will follow.

NAMI, National Alliance on Mental Illness, will meet at the Havre-Hill County Library at 5:30 p.m. For more information, call Cindy at 265-6409.

Wednesday, April 29

Books and Babies is at 10:15 a.m. at the Havre-Hill County Library. This event is free, and everybody is welcome.

Story Time is at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. at the Havre-Hill County Library. Participants will be planting trees to take home in honor of Arbor Day. This event is free, and everybody is welcome.

Thursday, April 30

Have you had “The Talk” Parent class series, sponsored by The Hill County Health Consortium, will be at 6:30-8 p.m. at Northern Montana Hospital, Conference Room 4A, with the topic "Continuing the Conversation." This is a free class, and anyone interested is welcome. Parents of pre-teens and teens are encouraged to attend.

Lego Time and Robotics will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at Havre-Hill County Library. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 265-2123.

Library Spring Movies will be showing "Theory of Everything" at 7 p.m. at Havre-Hill County Library. This event is free, and everyone is welcome.

I would LOVE to see our community list more events in this section. So many times you hear from a friend that went to some event or fundraiser that you didn't even hear about. Would love to see any little thing going on in Havre to be posted here.

HPS Education Foundation hosting the annual HOLIDAY HOOPS Blue Pony alumni basketball games on Friday December 27th at the Havre Middle School. First game at 6:30pm. Players contact Tony at 390-6178 or Grayson at Master Sports. Fun for the whole family!
