Monday, March 30

The 2015 MCTM Math Contest will be at Havre High from 2 to 4 p.m., with an expected attendance of 500 to 600 students from across the Hi-Line competing for cash and college scholarships. For more information, call Mary Wagner at 265-6731.

Tuesday, March 31

NAMI, National Alliance on Mental Illness, will meet at the Havre-Hill County Library at 5:30 p.m. For more information, call Cindy at 265-6409.

Tax aides will be helping seniors and people with low income with tax returns and other year-end tax matters 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Mondays and Tuesdays until April 15. To make an appointment and find out what information to bring, call North Central Senior Center at 265-5464.

Legislative Conversations with area legislators, in a “call-in” program is set for noon to 1 p.m. at the Robins School Administration Building first floor video-conference room, pending the Helena schedule for area legislators. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Wednesday, April 1

Books and Babies is at 10:15 a.m. at the Havre-Hill County Library. This event is free, and everybody is welcome.

Story Time is at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. at the Havre-Hill County Library. April Fool's Day is the theme. This event is free, and everybody is welcome.

Thursday, April 2

Lego Time and Robotics will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at Havre-Hill County Library. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 265-2123.

Friday, April 3

"Over the River and Through the Woods," a Montana Actors' Theatre comedy presentation, will be showing at 8 p.m. at the MSU-Northern Little Theatre. Doors and the Backstage Lounge open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors, and free to Northern students with an ID.

Saturday, April 4

Sweet Memorial Nursing Home annual Easter egg hunt will begin at 11 a.m. at 125 Airport Road in Chinook. The event will have four different age groups: 1-3, 4-5, 6-7 and 8-10.

Easter egg hunt, sponsored by Havre Eagles Club and Havre Jaycees, will begin at 1 p.m. at Eagles Park, 1st Street and 18th Avenue. The event will feature four age groups: 1-4, 5-7, 8-10 and 11 and up, and people can go to the Eagles Club, 202 1st St., for food, fun and games afterward.

Jalissa Horinek's fundraiser for her People to People student trip will begin at 5 p.m. at the Hingham Community Center. Tickets for the pork dinner are $10 per plate and $30 per family. The evening will also include a silent auction and a raffle. For more information, call 390-4028.

The Optimist Easter egg hunt will begin at Optimist Park, at 9th Street West and Boulevard Avenue, at 1 p.m. The event will feature a prize for each age group: 0-3, 4-6 and 7-9.

I would LOVE to see our community list more events in this section. So many times you hear from a friend that went to some event or fundraiser that you didn't even hear about. Would love to see any little thing going on in Havre to be posted here.
