Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a Sexual or Violent Offender Registration violation at 2:27 p.m. Wednesday at the police station.

Nashae Ryan Bauer, 21, of Havre was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after officers responded to an 11:03 p.m. Wednesday call from 3rd Street about someone calling the police station’s business line but did not talk because the callers were arguing.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies served a warrant at Hill County Detention Center Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. No further information was provided.

Deputies investigated an incident in which a caller reported from a Box Elder establishment at 4:17 p.m. Wednesday that a check had been cashed without his permission.

A caller at 4:33 p.m. Wednesday requested assistance with animal control in the Havre area. A deputy provided assistance.

Wednesday at 4:49 p.m. an individual at the sheriff's office reported a check cashed unlawfully. Deputies are investigating.

Deputies were called to provide assistance on 30th Avenue Northeast Wednesday at 5:39 p.m.

A caller on 11 Street North reported today at 2:30 a.m. that a man was beating up his girlfriend and would not let anyone into the house to help her. Deputies investigated the incident.

Havre Fire Department

A fire crew responded to a call about a gas line rupture at 3:13 p.m. Wednesday on the 2400 Block of 10th Avenue. The crew stayed onsite until NorthWestern Energy responded and repaired the damage that occurred due to construction work.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held a female tan terrier, a male black Labrador-mix, a male brown and white mix-breed puppy and a male black and tan pit bull.
