Marilyn M. Hutton

Marilyn M. Hutton, 77, of Turner, Mont., passed away March 28, in Great Galls after a battle with cancer.

Marilyn was born Oct. 24, 1936, in Scotts Bluff, Neb., to Miles and Marilla Roudebush. She graduated from McLaughlin High School in Milton-Freewater, Ore., in 1955.

She worked in Oregon and California before meeting the love of her life, Glenn Hutton in 1973. In 1974, she and Glenn were united in marriage, and she worked beside Glenn at Glenn's Border Bar in Turner until their retirement in 2000. Marilyn also worked at Turner School in the lunch room up until this past October when she was diagnosed with cancer. Marilyn was a happy soul with a quick wit and a great laugh. Spending time with and watching her grandson, Zach, grow up was one of the greatest joys of her life.

Marilyn was an active member of the Turner American Legion Women's Auxiliary Club, the Turner ODO Club and the Hogeland Happy Housewives.

She had a strong faith in God. She enjoyed traveling and taking trips to Las Vegas to watch the National Finals Rodeo and gamble with Glenn. She loved watching basketball and cheering for the Tornadoes. She loved crafts, ceramics and even at one time participated in karate. She was a hard worker and always willing to help out when needed.

She is survived by her son, Tracy Hutton of Turner; grandson, Zachary Hutton of Turner; stepchildren, Jaimie Hutton of Conrad and Jodi of California; a brother, Robert Roudebush of Pendleton, Ore.; sisters, Twylla Feigner of Boardman, Ore., and Sallie Sisgbee of Milton-Freewater, Ore.; and two godchildren, Mike and Mindy Liese of Havre.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glenn Hutton in 2011; and a brother, Mile Roudebush.
