Havre is for winners

Another winning lottery ticket was purchased in Havre. A $100,000 prize will be awarded to the person who has the Montana Millionaire ticket sold at the Tip It Bar, number 046264. The ticket was purchased Dec. 31, and the last day to claim the prize will be June 30.

Six prizes were awarded for Montana Millionaire ticket. A $1 million-dollar prize was won in Columbia Falls and another $100,000 prize was won in Billings. The other three prizes were $10,000 and were won in Helena, Bozeman and Sidney. The only prize claimed so far is the one won in Billings, according to Daniel Iverson, the communications manager at Montana Lottery.

This prize pushed Havre over $2,400,000 for prizes won since May.

Montana Millionaire is a lottery game in which only 130,000 tickets are available. The game begins on Jan. 1 and ends on Dec. 31 and once the tickets are sold out, those participating must wait until the winners of the six prizes are announced at the end of the year. Each ticket is $20.
