His funeral service will be at Christ United Methodist Church on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at 1 p.m., with interment to follow in Red Butte Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Cody John Yuhas, 24, was born in Great Falls on Oct. 26, 1989, to Steve and Sherry. He leaves behind many loved ones who will miss him immensely, Stephanie Nichole Potter, his soulmate of nine years; and his daughter, Eastyn "Easty" Grace Yuhas, the light of his life; his mother, Sherry L. (Bob) Brewster; his brothers, Tyler (Stephanie) Yuhas and Tim (Jordan) Yuhas; his grandparents, Jim and Jo Ann Yuhas and John and Mary Gillispie; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece and a nephew who will miss having him in their lives.

Cody was preceded in death by his father, Steve Yuhas, who was there to welcome Cody into the Kingdom of Heaven.

Cody was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed bow hunting, fishing and rifle hunting. He enjoyed working his brother, Tyler's ranch, in his off time. Cody was working on his doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Montana in Missoula and completed many clerkships at Benefis Health System and Clinic Pharmacy. Prior to attending the University of Montana, he completed undergraduate work at University of Great Falls. He worked while in school and during summer vacations at Shopko Pharmacy in Missoula and Great Falls. Cody made the dean's list multiple times while attending college and was awarded multiple scholarships.

Cody had a multitude of interests. He enjoyed watching the Grizzly football games with his brothers, Skype conversations with Eastyn and Stephanie, being "Da-da," and spending tons of hours studying for his eventual career as a pharmacist. He was highly motivated, intelligent, and driven. He was characterized as a nice person, witty, very thoughtful, caring and quietly brilliant. His contagious chuckle and incredible smile will be missed by all. He dreamed of taking his daughter fishing and teaching her how to fish.

Cody touched many lives in his 24 years with us. Heaven has gained an extraordinary angel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made towards Cody's funeral expenses with any remaining balance to be placed into a trust for his daughter, Eastyn. Donations can also be made specifically to the trust reserved for Eastyn, c/o Marra, Evenson & Bell, PO Box 1525, Great Falls, MT 59403.
