In 1962, they moved to Minnesota and eventually settled in North St. Paul where they raised their family. Millie enjoyed raising her family, housekeeping, and was known for her excellent cooking and entertaining, especially during the holidays.

On Saturday nights, Millie and Jerry could often be found dancing at the local VFW or the American Legion.

Millie worked at a drug store in downtown North St. Paul for more than 20 years.

Upon her retirement, Mille and Jerry liked to travel, taking several trips out Wes, returning to Havre for class reunions and to visit with relatives.
