Local Bowling Report: Tournaments on tap at Hi-Line Lanes

Ten Pin Chatter

Hi-Line Lanes has added something new called “Spin The Magic Wheel” when you pay for your bowling. The Wheel will be at the desk. You can win everything from a free game, to hamburger and fries. You must be 18 or older to spin and only get one spin per visit.

This Saturday night, Jackpot Bowling will be held at 8 p.m. Bowlers wanting to sign up please call the lanes.

A few weeks ago Debi Rhines brought in a picture she had acquired at a garage sale. The picture was of Nadene Larson and myself. We were the recipients of the High Average award for the season; Nadene with a 170 and myself a 192. The year as closely as I can figure out had to be around 1970. I remember it because the Havre Daily News gave the trophies. It was an honor to receive the honor back in the day.

TOURNEY TRAIL: Hi-Line Lanes is running a Young & Youngest Tournament Nov. 16 and 17. Shift times and all details will be posted and a sign-up sheet at the desk. Saturday, Nov. 30, The Hi Line Lanes Challenge will be held and details will be at the front desk.
