Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a 10:04 a.m. Tuesday complaint at the police department about a check that was cashed out of the complainant’s account.

A 26-year-old Havre man was arrested for outstanding state district court warrants and a pick up and on hold order after being served a warrant by officers at 2:36 p.m. Tuesday after a man talked to officers in the police department.

Officers investigated a 6:37 p.m. Tuesday call from Lincoln Avenue about a truck mirror shot out by a BB gun.

A 15-year-old Havre girl was issued a summons for obstructing a peace officer and juvenile curfew violations and an 18-year-old Havre man was arrested for endangering the welfare of children, obstructing a peace officer, driving under the influence and possession of an intoxicant after officers received a 12:37 a.m. Wednesday call from 6th Avenue about the calling party’s daughter taking off again.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a 12:55 p.m. Tuesday call from a U.S. Highway 2 about three female shoplifters.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to eight calls Tuesday. Firefighters responded to a 3:36 p.m. Tuesday call to the 800 Block of 12th Street about a gas line rupture, where they evacuated the area so NorthWestern Energy could fix the line.

Animal Shelter

A black and white male pit-mix was placed in the shelter Sept. 26.

A black and white male Aussie-mix puppy was placed in the shelter Oct. 4.

A black and white female border heeler-mix was placed in the shelter Oct. 10.

———

A brown and white male mix-breed puppy was placed in the shelter Oct. 13.

Births

A boy was born to Tasha and Travis Rush of Havre on Oct. 13, 2013.
