Former Libertarian congressional candidate missing

HAMILTON (AP) — A former Libertarian congressional candidate from Victor has been reported missing.

The Ravalli County sheriff's office is asking for helping in locating 53-year-old David Philip Kaiser. He was last seen at about 6 p.m. Friday and was reported missing Saturday.

Kaiser is a white man who is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and about 200 pounds with blond hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark blue polo shirt, blue jeans and red and white tennis shoes.

He may be traveling in a black and silver 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer with Montana Patriot license plates NNBB00.

Kaiser ran for the U.S. House in 2012 against Republican Steve Daines and Democrat Kim Gillan. He received 4 percent of the vote in last November's general election.
