The Montana State University-Northern men's basketball team is in Kansas City to play Evangel University in the first round of the NAIA national basketball tournament Wednesday night. And while the Lights are hard at work preparing for Wednesday night's game, they also took part in plenty of other

Northern spent part of Monday interactiing with local youths at Black Bob Elementary School chapter of the Kansas City YMCA. Team's attending the national tournament can volunteer for  events put on by the NAIA Champions of Charchter during their trip to the national tournament, and the Lights have always partaken in spending time with local youths while in K.C.

Monday also saw Northern attend a dinner with the Lights' honorary coaches at in Kansas City, as well as practice for Wednesday night's upcoming game.
