The Havre High volleyball team turned in another good season, and narrowly missed out on a trip to the state tournament.
The Blue Ponies finished the year with a 5-7 conference record and as the No. 3 team in the Central A, and while the season is over, some Ponies did enough to earn Central A All-Conference Honors.
This season, the Ponies had five girls earn honors.
Sarah Armstrong helped lead the Ponies to a successful season as one of the best middle hitters in the state. Armstrong was named Class A All-State, as well as First-Team All-Conference. But Armstrong wasn’t alone as Peyton Filius and Brandy Lambourne also earned top honors. Filius led the Ponies in assists as the setter and was named Second-Team All-Conference. Lambourne was also named Second-Team All-Conferese for HHS after what she was able to accomplish as the Ponies’ Libero.
Davee McLeod and Sadie Seidel were also named All-Conference Honorable Mention for the Ponies.
The Ponies went 2-2 at the Central A divisional tournament this season, but missed out on a trip to the state tournament after a loss to Lewistown. But with a third place finish and still plenty of talent to go around, the Ponies will look to keep building on their success next season.
