    A year ago, almost to the day, the Montana State University-Northern football team was picked to finish second in the Frontier Conference by the league’s head coaches.     The Office of Public Instruction is seeking applicants for its K-12 Data Task Force. The task force, established in Senate Bill 175, will be made up of 27 individuals who will serve in an advisory capacity to the Office of Public Instruction. The task force will review, monitor, and provide input and guidance in enhancing the statewide K-12 data system.     The voters on Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation have spoken and contradicted an action of their tribal council. In a special election to fill the vacant chair of the Chippewa Cree Tribe’s Business Committee, Ken Blatt St. Marks — whom the council unanimously removed from office March 25 — received 453 votes, 40.6 percent of the 1,116 cast.
