    The MSU-Northern men's basketball team couldn't overcome a rough start Thursday night in Lewiston, Idaho. The No. 19 Lights fell to Lewis-Clark State 70-61 Thursday night. The Lights had to play from behind all of the second half after the Warriors built a 14-point lead. Ben Mitchell came off the bench to lead the Lights with 13 points.   • Plenty of local hockey on tap this weekend

    The Havre Ice Hawks high school hockey team is coming off losses of 6-1 and 4-0 at Bozeman last weekend, but they'll be glad to be home. The Ice Hawks face Miles City on Saturday and Sunday at the Havre Ice Dome. The games are at 7 p.m. on Saturday night and 8 a.m. on Sunday. There will also be a special treat this weekend at the Ice Dome as a men's hockey tournament will be held.     The Big Money Ice Fishing Derby planned this weekend at Beaver Creek Reservoir, has been cancelled.     A contentious issue again raised contention during a video conference in Havre Wednesday with legislators in Helena. Answering a question from Havre resident Rick Dow, Rep.     Average city sewage bill could see $1.11 monthly increase City sewage rates may see an increase in the next few months to cover the costs of the system. Havre City Council's Water and Sewage Committee met Wednesday night to discuss a 4.7 percent increase in the the city's sewage rates. The committee decided to pass the recommendation on to City Council at its next meeting on Feb. 7.     BILLINGS (AP) — A trooper who resigned last month rather than being fired was investigated several times during his 17-year career with the Montana Highway Patrol, according to a report obtained by a newspaper.
