KIMBERLY FILLER: Obituary

SUMNER, Wash. Kimberly Anne Filler, 34, Sumner, Wash. was killed in a train accident on Wednesday, May 3, 2000.

A memorial was held in Sumner on May 10 at the Hill Funeral Home Chapel.

Filler was born April 1, 1966 in Havre to Kathy Healy of Buckley, Wash. and Dave Filler of Havre. She attended grade school and high school in Sumner

Filler earned an associate degree from Hi Line Community College before returning to Havre and obtaining a bachelor's degree from Montana State University-Northern. She carried a 3.9 grade point average at Northern and was active in many school activities. She excelled in drama and music. She participated in several plays at Northern and was a member of the rock band, "The Shadow Riders," in the Seattle area.

Filler loved Montana, the wildlife, fishing and the outdoors. Her hobbies included playing her guitar, singing, writing songs and caring for her two cats.

She is survived by her mother, Kathy Healy of Sumner; her father, Dave Filler of Havre; brother, Jeff Filler of Tacoma, Wash.; two half-sisters, Pamela Filler of Havre and Christine Lambert of Great Falls; step-father, Brian Healy of Sumner; step-sister, Shannon Healy, and two step-brothers, Mike Healy and Dean Healy, all of the Seattle area; grandmother, Ruth Bickler of Puyallup, Wash.; special person, Sharon Richan of Havre; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the animal humane society.
