The Coyotes were just too quick, too strong, and too deep.
Both Chester track teams defended last year's titles and earned District 10C crowns Thursday at Memorial Stadium in Great Falls.
Carlane Jensen had a stellar day, setting meet records in the javelin (134-1) and triple jump (35-1).
Jensen broke her own record in the javelin, which she set at 115 feet eight inches in 1999.
The javelin toss was a personal-best for Jensen, who has the longest javelin throw in the state in the Class C.
The triple jump mark was also a personal-best for Jensen, and is one of the longest in the State Class C.
Jensen also placed first in the shot put with a toss of 33-8 1/2 and the discus with a throw of 108-11.
Michele Van Dyke tied the meet record set by herself in the high jump at 5 feet two inches. The old record was set in 1999. Jensen placed second in the event with a jump of 5-0.
Van Dyke is No. 1 in the state in the high jump with a jump of 5-6 1/2.
Emily Tranberg also smashed a former record in the 100-meter hurdles. She clocked in at 16.78 in the race, breaking the former record set in 1997 by Tawnya Evans (16.95).
Maci Tempel earned first-place finishes in the 400 meters, 200 meters, and the 300-meter hurdles.
She had a time of 28.25 in the 200, 49.24 in the hurdles, and 63.96 in the 400.
Hannah Brown won the 3,200 meters with a time of 13:19.91 and placed second in the 1,600 (6:08.74).
The Coyotes swept the relay events with Tranberg, Tempel, Heidi Cicon, and Jamie Graham leading the team to victory in the 400-meter relay with a time of 55.37.
Tempel, Graham, Katy Engstrom, and Van Dyke raced to victory in the 1,600-meter relay with a time of 4:26.1.
The girls finished with 240 points for their fourth-straight title, while second-place finisher Sunburst had 109.
Jeff Graham helped lead his team to its 10th-straight team title, earning individual medals in the 300-meter hurdles and the 400 meters.
Brent Clark placed first in the long jump with a jump of 19-3 3/4.
Zeb Engstrom placed first in the pole vault with a jump of 11-6. He also placed first in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.55.
Sean Weinert earned first-place honors in the 800 meters with a time of 2:06.
Scott Riggin, who recently signed at Northern to wrestle, swept the sprinting titles, placing first in the 100 meters with a time of 11.57 and first in the 200 meters with a time of 23.3.
The Coyotes swept the relay events with a time of 46.53 in the 400-meter relay, which was run by Riggin, Clark, Graham, and Colt Diemert. Riggin, Diemert, Graham and Weinert ran the 1,600-meter relay in a time of 3:41.9.
The boys finished with 206 points, while runner-up Sunburst had 114 on the day.
The top five individual finishers in each event and relay from District 7, 8, 9, and 10 meets advance to the Northern Divisional track meet at Great Falls next weekend.
The J-I Rams finished third in the team standings on the boys' side with 74 points. The girls finished with 19 on the day.
The Rams' Eric Sundgren placed first in the discus with a toss of 126-7.
Angela Peek placed second in the discus with a toss of 99-10. She also placed second in the shot put with a throw of 33-3. Denise Eichhorn placed sixth in the 3,200 with a time of 16:08.82.
