ARALEE MCCOY: Obituary

Karalee Muriel McCoy, 42, died May 2, 2000 at a Havre hospital due to cancer.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Sixth Avenue Christian Church, with cremation and burial later in the Turner Cemetery.

McCoy was born to Graham and Adrienne (Richards) Hutton in Climax, Saskatchewan, Canada on June 29, 1957. She was raised on the family ranch north of Turner, where she played with her kittens and pups.

McCoy graduated from Turner High School in 1975 and attended Northern Montana College in Havre and Eastern Montana College in Billings.

he married Tim McCoy on March 21, 1992 in Havre at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. McCoy adopted her two children Lucas and Adrianna by previous marriages to Lloyd Medina and Michael Graeber.

McCoy enjoyed writing prose, poems and short stories, decorating, crafts, rummaging, antique hunting, dancing, singing, hairstyling and housekeeping.

She is survived by her husband, Tim, of Townsend; son, Lucas and daughter, Adrianna, both of Dupuyer; parents, Graham and Adrienne Hutton of Havre; sisters, Phyllis Fitzpatrick of Dupuyer, Linda Shaw of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Cheryl Thompson of Ely, Nev.; brother, Miles of Turner, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorials may be sent to the Sixth Avenue Christian Church or to the McCoy children.

Arrangements are by Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook.
