Mitsu Frazier, a 5-foot-9 outside hitter, has signed a national letter of intent to play volleyball for the MSU-Northern Skylights next fall, announced Lisa Handley, head coach.
"Mitsu is a fantastic athlete," Handley said. "She touches about 9-foot-9 and is incredibly quick."
Frazier, a senior at Great Falls High, played outside hitter for the Bison. She also holds two state Class AA track records.
"She has enthusiastically agreed to play middle hitter for us," Handley said.
Frazier was earned the Who's Who in Sports award and the Who's Who in Academics award.
She has been a Dare role model for three years, junior class representative for the Chamber Orchestra, and part of the Big Brother and Sisters volunteer program.
"I am very excited to have Mitsu sign with Northern," Handley said. "She has to work on back court skills as well as getting use to the speed of the college game, but her enthusiasm to take on the challenge of becoming a middle at the college level is great to see. I think she could become a great player and will be an immediate asset to our program."
Frazier will pursue a degree in business at Northern.
