BROWNSBURG, Ind. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Van Orsdel United Methodist Church for Dennis Lee New, 30, who died in Brownsburg, Ind. on Wednesday, May 13, 2000.
New was the grandson of Everett and Elizabeth Appel Topham of Havre.
He was in the U.S. Army and served as a fire support specialist with the 82nd Airborne during Operation Desert Storm.
Other survivors are his wife, Christine Watson New; children, Kyle and Kaitlin New; parents, David and Judith Topham; sister, Cherie New.
