VIOLA (WAGNER) SMITH
SEATTLE, Wash. Viola Fern (Wagner) Smith, 79, died Sept. 5, 1999, at her residence of natural causes.
Cremation has taken place.
Smith was born June 18, 1920, in Havre, to Howard and Hattie (Beatty) Wagner.
On Dec. 10, 1936, she married Russell Elmer Smith. The couple were later divorced.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 10 siblings, her ex-husband, and two children.
Survivors include sisters, Pauline Winchell of Havre, Irene Miller of Clearlake, Iowa, Murhl McFadden, Danville, Calif.; a brother, Izra Wagner of Havre; children, Howard Smith of Havre, Marcia Smith, Carl Smith, Lloyd Smith, Robert Smith, Paullette Hopping, all of Washington, Lillian Gilden of California; and numerous grandchildren and great-grand children.
