It might be a little tougher for the cold winter winds to bite this winter think to the efforts of Herbergers and there Havre Manager, Gary Peterson.
The Havre department store is running a week-long I Feel Great Charity Coat Drive that began Sunday, Sept. 12, and will run through Sunday, Sept. 19.
All Herbergers customers will receive 20 percent off the cost of any coat purchased during the week and a additional 20 percent will be deducted if they bring in a clean, used coat as a donation.
Herbergers, nation wide, has donated over 90,000 coats to community charities in the 10 states where they operate since the program began.
I think its great anytime we can help someone out and do something good for the community, said Gary Peterson, the manager of Herbergers in Havre.
