Chester, KG remain undefeated

Tuesday, the Box Elder Bears ran through the Havre JV team 58-35.

In the second, the Bears defense held the Blue Ponies to just two points as Box Elder took a 29-9 halftime lead. The Bears were led by Tessie LaMere who had 14 points.

Thursday, Chester strapped Belt 71-34 in non-conference Class C action.

Jamie Graham led the way for Chester with 19 points while Marci Tempel added 17.

Big Sandy downed District 9C foe Blue Sky Thursday, with the 75-42 win.

Sasha Ritter tallied a game-high 15 points while Hannah Warhank led the Eagles with 12.

The KG KouGars handed the Blue Sky Eagles their second loss of the weekend with a 49-36 win.

Ashley Melby led KGs scoring attack with 12 points while Lindsey Letang topped the Eagles scoring roster with 15.

Defending state champion Box Elder went to Rocky Boy and picked up a 78-48 win.

LaMere led the Bears with 19 points while Sommer and Josie Rosette each had 16. Farrah Small had 13 points to lead Rocky Boy.

Big Sandy plowed through J-I Friday night 86-22.

Ritter led three Big Sandy players in double figures with 16, while J-I was topped by Angela Peek who had nine.

Grass Range downed Hays-Lodgepole Friday night and went home with a 90-20 win over the Thunderbirds.

Chelsey Kirkaldie had 16 points to led the T-Birds.

Big Sandy played Dodson Saturday with the Pioneers dominating to notch a 79-40 win.

Four Big Sandy players were in double figures with Amy Silvan leading the way with 18.

Rocky Boy pulled out a narrow 51-48 win over Hays-Lodgepole on Saturday in District 9C action.

Natasha Stump tallied 11 points to lead all Morning Star scorers. Kirkaldie led the T-Birds with a game-high 19 points.

In 10C play, Chester stayed perfect with a 72-33 win over Valier.

Jamie Graham led the way with 14 points while Michelle Van Dyke dumped in 13.

J-I fell to Sunburst Saturday, 54-35, in district 10C action.

Angela Peek had a team-high 21 points to lead the Rams.

The KG KouGars narrowly escaped the Box Elder Bears Saturday with a 47-43 win.

Melby led the way for KG with 20 points while Sommer Rosette paced the Bears with 14.
