Lammerdings accolades include: three-year letter winner in golf, three-year academic all-state winner, and most valuable golfer, three years.
In her sophomore year, Lammerding placed 10th at state and took the Class A divisional title. She also placed 10th at state her senior year.
In addition to her golf prowess, she was also a four-year letter winner in volleyball. She helped lead her volleyball team to back-to-back state titles her junior and senior year. She was also academic all-state her senior year and co-captain of the Blue Pony volleyball team.
Her high school involvements included: member of HELPERS where she took part in the Painting the Town Red campaign, pep club, year book staff, and community service where she helped with the firemans food drive.
She was recently awarded the Academic Award for Excellence and the Presidential Educators Award for her success in the classroom.
Shanda is a great recruit, said head golf coach Jessica Peters. She is a huge plus for the school and community.
Lammerding averages a 92 with the potential to shoot in the upper 80s. Peters said she hopes to see these numbers by the end of Lammerdings first year at Northern.
