GLADYS LANNING
HAMILTON Gladys L. (Bilile) Lanning, 86, a former resident of Big Sandy, died Monday, May 31, 1999, at a Hamilton hospital.
At her request no services are planned.
Lanning was born Feb. 1, 1913, in Kenelworth. She grew up in the Big Sandy area. She attended Northern Montana College in Havre and taught at the Rice School south of Big Sandy in 1932 and 1933.
On Feb. 17, 1934, she married Page Lanning in Havre. The couple farmed south of Big Sandy until 1966. They later moved to Big Arm and resided there for several years until moving to Hamilton.
She enjoyed hunting, fishing, visiting with friends, traveling and flying airplanes.
She is survived by her husband, Page Lanning, of Hamilton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are by the Daly-Leach Chapel of Hamilton.
