A 17-year-old Havre boy ended up in jail after threatening to kill witnesses to his armed robbery of another boy in Havre late Friday night.
Officers investigating a fight reported in the 400 block of 10th Avenue shortly before 11 p.m. Friday learned that the 17-year-old stole another boys bicycle at knife point. The suspect then beat up the victim, according to witnesses, and threatened to kill witnesses if they told anyone what happened.
Officers found they 17-year-old boy at his home with the stolen bike later. He was arrested on warrants and jailed on $680 bond. MIP and felony robbery charges are pending review of police reports by the county attorney.
