Murder suspects Jacob Spang and Reid Danell are now being held in the Hill County Justice Center, Sheriff Tim Solomon confirmed this morning.
Spang and Danell were transported from the Great Falls Detention Center sometime last night. Both are accused of deliberate homicide in the shooting deaths of Kristi Walker and Kevin Caplette. They are awaiting arraignment on the charges in Hill County.
Investi-gators found the bodies of Walker and Caplette around noon on Sept. 16 after receiving a 911 phone call by one of the victims roommates. Police found the bodies in separate parts of the home located at 1231 6th St. in Havre. Walker and Caplette were the victims of multiple gunshot wounds.
Deputy County Attorney Aileen Miller said her office has up to 30 days to arraign the suspects. The two men were arrested on Sept. 17 at the Highwood Motel in Great Falls.
The third suspect, 15-year-old Francine Spang, is still being held at the regional detention center in Great Falls. She will first face the charges of possession, obstruction and resisting arrest before standing trial for facilitating the murder of Walker and Caplette, and tampering with evidence related to the crime.
