Gerald V. Grandberg, 71, died Feb. 16, 2009, at Northern Montana Care Center due to natural causes.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Memorials may be sent to the Bullhook Bottom Black Powder Club, P.O. Box 1351, Havre, MT 59501. Arrangements are by Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook. Gerald was born on March 20, 1937 in Willmar, Minn., and came to Montana in 1959. He worked on various ranches in the area and enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. Gerald married Mary Young in Minnesota on Nov. 9, 1957 and they later divorced. He is survived by daughter Debbie (Robert) Molitor, son Wes (Jean) Grandberg, all of Havre, four grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
