The Women's Association meeting will be held April 5 at 6:30 p.m. All members are urged to attend as the merging of associations will be discussed and voted on. Election of some officers and all directors will be held. City Tourney checks and awards will be handed out and as always - if you want your money, attend the meeting. The Tuesday women will be bowling their final league night so please be on time.

Leagues are into their final weeks and a lot of the top spots are still up for grabs. I think this is the closest I have seen most of the leagues this late in the season. Due to the closing of Hi-Line Lanes because of the weather, the Thursday leagues will not be done until around April 21.

I for one can hardly wait for it to be over as injuries have taken a toll on my Thursday AM team. A couple of weeks ago, Marla Boyce was involved in an accident that left her with a torn ACL and is unable to finish the season. Thanks a bunch to Sylvia Hansen for finishing the season for her. Last week, I lost Apple Brown to another much needed hip replacement that puts her out. Lorna Bjerga has agreed to finish for her and deserves a huge thanks. And then there is Diane Hamilton. I don't know what our league would do without her, there just isn't enough of her. "Thanks D!" During the summer, make clones.

Ruby Worstell and Val Wolf have b-days the 3rd of April. Michele Beck and Deanna Olson have age-adders the 4th.

Jackie Mayer and Petie Durward picked 5-7s; Kyle Fanning a 5-10; Val Wolf a 3-7-10; and Sylvia Hansen a 9-10 and the 5-10 twice.

Art Olson had a Dutch 200 Sunday night. The Liane Jorday of last week should have read Liane Jordan. Congrats Art - sorry Liane!

Dana Seidel had games of 203, 211, 203 for a 617. She also shot a 557. Lana Herman had a 549; Ruth Orr 540; Pegi Browning 558; and Susie Friede a 531. Thanks Susie for filling in for me Sunday nights! Thanks Steve for not putting up a fuss for Susie filling in for me Sunday nights.

A 269 from Kyle Fanning was the high game and the series of 668 belonged to Ryan Mapes. Kyle had a 600 and Ryan a 247. Don Jones shot a 259, 667; Art Olson 248, 666; Chris Young 253, 625; Shawn Holden 253; and David Hassa a 244. "6" shooters were: Arnie Shulund 607; Bret Preeshl 639; Cody Thompson 609; Skip Owens 612; Barry Zanto 616; Shawn Mariani 606; Jim Burrington 609; Ron Turner 602; and Lorin Teske a 623.

Ryan also had the high 4-game of 893. Don Jones had an 848; Art Olson 835; Barry Zanto 783; and Dana Seidel a 789.

You probable noticed the PBA did not bowl on Easter (another goof from me). They should be on this Sunday morning for the World Championship. Check your listing on ESPN, my time says 11:00.

I received the results of the YABA YBC Tourney held at Lewistown March 19-20. Kyle Surber took first in the 12-and-Over and Roman Surber was third. Mitchell Cresswell was first in the 12 and Over Hdcp. Jacob Anderson finished 8th and Carlin Toner of Rudyard 9th. Jourdon Han of Rudyard was first in the girls' division and Kelsey Doney, Rudyard, finished fifth. Quinn Spinler of Hingham took first in the 11-and-Under and Zachary Anderson and Connor Kline of Rudyard were fifth and sixth, respectively. David Denny finished 11th and Mark Morrell 17th. Tylynn Rettig of Rudyard was first in the girls with Kelsey Cresswell fourth, Kayla Hanson sixth, Bridjour Han (Rudyard) eighth, Jaylee Berg 13th, and Brandi Berg 15th.
