The Rocky Boy Morning Stars are simply playing the best basketball of possibly any high school girls basketball team on the Hi-Line.

Rocky Boy moved to a perfect 4-0 with a pair of impressive wins this past weekend. The Stars started with a 57-47 win over the Highwood Mountaineers.

The Stars rallied from a 30-23 halftime deficit, outscoring Highwood 18-11 in the third quarter to tie the game at 41 going into the fourth quarter. In the final eight minutes, Rocky Boy put the game away, going on a 16-6 run to pick up a crucial nonconference win.

The Belcourt twins, Loni and Tori, led Rocky Boy with a combined 34 points, with each sinking a three-pointer.

The Morning Stars picked up their second win of the season with a 60-43 conference win over the Hays-Lodge Pole Thunderbirds.

Again Rocky Boy trailed after the first quarter, but outscored the T-Birds 25-2 in the second quarter to seal the win.
