The Central A Ponies were at home and on the road over the weekend. On Friday the Ponies were on the road for a tough conference game. The Ponies won 47-43 in Lewistown. On Saturday the Ponies returned home for senior night against the nonconference Shelby Coyotes, and this time won 55-33. With the two wins the Ponies improved to 11-6 overall and 6-1 in the conference.

Saturday the Ponies competed in the Central A Divisional meet in Belgrade. And showing the Ponies are still a top team in the state, HHS grabbed the Central A championship with 276.50 points. On a rare Tuesday night game for the Central A Havre Blue Ponies, HHS hosted Malta, and a M-Ette's team that brought with them an unblemished schedule at 13-0. The Havre boys finished seventh in Helena with 82 points. Helena High captured the boys meet with 233 points, while Bozeman was second and Class A rival Billings Central took third. On the girls side, the ponies scored 35 points and finished ninth. Helena won the meet with 340 points, while Hellgate was second and Billings Central came in third.

The Skylights found themselves in another tight one Thursday night in Helena, only Northern reversed roles. MSU-N came back from a halftime deficit and another tough shooting night to upend Carroll College 55-50 in Helena Thursday night. The win pushed Northern to 2-2 in Frontier Conference play and returned the Skylights to a good feeling after last weekend’s setback at home.

The Central A Ponies were at home and on the road over the weekend. On Friday the Ponies were on the road for a tough conference game. The Ponies won 47-43 in Lewistown. On Saturday the Ponies returned home for senior night against the nonconference Shelby Coyotes, and this time won 55-33. With the two wins the Ponies improved to 11-6 overall and 6-1 in the conference.

This past weekend the Havre Ice Dome played host to the 2nd Annual Hi-Line Hell Freeze Adult Hockey Tournament. With teams from around the state, as well as Alberta and Saskatchewan, the tournament was able to raise over $5,000 to support the Havre Youth Hockey Program.
