    A new sign recently placed on U.S. Highway 87 south of Havre points the way to Fort Assinniboine, the historic fort that was in operation in the late 19th and early 20th century.     A large garage and workshop adjacent to the home of Trish and Skip Taylor was gutted by fire on Wednesday afternoon. Two antique cars and three other vehicles were destroyed. Havre, Chinook and Harlem firefighters were on the scene of the blaze, on Highway 2 just east of the Hill-Blaine county line. The workshop was owned by Mike Dolan.
